Toyoland publishes automotive content that helps people make real decisions about significant purchases. That comes with a responsibility to get things right, and to acknowledge it openly when we do not.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure accuracy at the time of publication. Despite this, errors happen. Specifications change, recall information is updated, pricing shifts, and data we relied on at publication may later be superseded. When that happens, we correct it — publicly and without burying it.
How We Handle Corrections
When an error is identified — by a reader, a contributor, or someone on our team — we review the claim and look for reliable supporting evidence. If the claim is found to be inaccurate, we update the article and add a note explaining what was changed and when. For more significant errors — particularly anything involving safety information, recall notices, or data that could directly affect a financial or purchasing decision — we record the correction in the public log at the bottom of this page.
We do not quietly delete inaccurate content or rewrite articles to remove errors without acknowledging them. We do not accept any payment or incentive to alter or remove accurate critical coverage. These are the standards we hold ourselves to.
How to Submit a Correction
If you believe something published on Toyoland is factually inaccurate, we want to hear from you. Email editorial@toyoland.com with the subject line: Correction Request — Correction Request — [Example: 2025 Honda Civic Review]. Include the URL of the article, the specific claim you believe to be wrong, and where possible a source supporting the correct information. We review all correction requests and aim to respond as promptly as we can.
Corrections submitted in good faith are always welcomed. Our readers’ trust depends on us getting the facts right, and that often requires help from people who know a subject more deeply than we do.
Corrections Log
This log records significant factual corrections made to published articles. Minor fixes such as typographical errors, broken links, or formatting issues are corrected without a log entry.
